A platform of financial and tax calculators for Romania: 89+ free tools in 10 categories, updated to current legislation, built on a WordPress plugin developed from scratch.
Complicated legislation, simple calculations
Salaries, loans, taxes, pensions: Romanians constantly need correct calculations, but legislation changes often and many online calculators are outdated or full of aggressive ads. Calculix had to be fast, correct and pleasant to use.
I developed a custom WordPress plugin that manages every calculator: each tool has its own page, with explanations, examples and frequently asked questions, while the calculation logic is updated centrally at every legislative change.
The platform is completed by a blog system with 10 categories and a weekly editorial routine, a newsletter with its own administration and SEO optimisation with Rank Math, with WebP images optimised under 100 KB across the whole site.
