1. First interaction
It’s crucial that you pick the best collaborator to build your website. That is why getting information and having a dialogue come first in the process.
I’ll contact you after you complete the contact form and ask you a few questions about your business, your target market, and your objectives. You can ask any questions once we discuss your responses.
The structure and functionality of your website will then start to take shape. I’ll provide my suggestions and recommendations and offer a fixed pricing.
Pay the deposit if you decide to go forward. I’ll schedule your project in the calendar and set you up in a project management application so that we can easily monitor and discuss progress.
Output: We’ll know if we’re a good fit at the conclusion of this stage. Your project will be scheduled if we are.
2. Discuss and research
Your site won’t work at its best just because it has a “beautiful” design. Instead, your website needs to highlight your business to encourage your targeted audience to stop, pay attention, and take action.
The objective of stage two is to increase your understanding of your target market, the reasons they need your product or service, and how the website i build will convert them into paying customers.
During this stage in which we work together, we will explore the following:
- The particularities of the business in terms of the features and benefits it offers
- Your story and personality
- Your target market and the ways in which your business helps its customers
We’ll, in essence, work together to wring out the insights and data required to build and design a custom website that engages users and encourages them to make purchases.
Output: To ensure that the “feel” and functionality of your site are perfect, at the conclusion of this stage we’ll have created an inspiration board packed with visual styles and ideas.
3. Wireframes and content
Once we clearly understand your target market and your company, it’s time to choose your site’s structure, navigation, and content to ensure it achieves your objectives. You now need to provide any photos along with your draught material, which should follow the structure we decided.
Based on the texts you provide and the features your website requires, I will, if necessary, build outlines for the important pages. Before beginning the visual design, it is simple to visualize the layout, information hierarchy, and functional elements using these “web sketches.”
These wireframes will also help you finalise the text, which you can do yourself or with my copywriting services.
Output: At the end of this stage, the site’s structure and navigation will be agreed upon and the content of the pages will be finalised.
4. Design
The effective design ensures visitors connect with your business brand and includes:
- A clean design will reduce distractions and keep customers focused on your brand.
- Using intuitive navigation, visitors may easily find what they’re looking for.
- Colours and graphics that are complementary to your brand and that trigger the desired emotional response
- Easy-to-read text and fonts that draw visitors through your site and get them to act.
Inspired by everything we’ve discussed, I’ll be creating design visuals for a number of key pages (plus optimizing them for mobile viewing).
Output: At the end of this stage you will know how your new website will look on a desktop and mobile device.
5. Website build
Using the agreed visual design elements and final content, I will start customizing your website.
During the build process I’ll:
- Always keep an eye on how your site is loading, operating, and looking.
- Improve your website’s onsite SEO to make sure it is optimised for search engines.
- Fill out the Content Management System (CMS) with your content so you can edit whenever you want.
- Make sure to thoroughly test your website to fix any bugs.
- Make that the design and functionality perform flawlessly on a variety of devices and browsers.
Your code won’t be “fat” with snippets you don’t need, in contrary to some DIY web builders. Instead, it will be accurate, lean, and built for quick loading.
Output: Your website will be coded at the end of this phase, and your content will be uploaded into the CMS, making your site ready to go online.
6. Launch, tracking and maintenance + training
Once the design and build of the website have been completed, we will get ready for launch and beyond:
- You can evaluate the performance of your website and gauge how well your content is received by visitors after adding Analytics to your website.
- Launch – Once your website is live, you can start getting visitors.
- Hosting and maintenance – unlimited server space for hosting your website, securing it and keeping it in perfect working order through regular updates of platform versions and component applications.
- To guarantee that you are comfortable using the CMS to update your website, you will receive one-to-one training.
Output: By the time this phase is complete, your new website will be operational, indexed in search engines to draw attention to your business, and ready to receive its first visitors.
